Assisted Living at Hastings Senior Health & Living
What is assisted living? A carefree, active senior lifestyle enhanced with the personal care and health care you need to maintain your independence. You’ll enjoy a gracious, private apartment ready for you to furnish as you wish.
Every day, you can choose from a variety of social opportunities, events, entertainment, Bible studies, classes and more, chosen by the people who live here and directed by our activity professionals. Exercise classes may help improve your strength, balance and mobility. Trips to local restaurants and attractions are planned and our transportation will take you there.
You’ll have a full kitchen, but there is no need to cook: you’ll have the option to sit down to three delicious meals daily, professionally served in our lovely dining room!
Amenities and services to enhance independence
Hastings Senior Health & Living offers the assurance of assisted living and the freedom to choose services.
The monthly rental fee includes the following:
- Choices in one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den or two-bedroom apartment homes
- Full kitchen with appliances
- Laundry rooms on every floor
- Private bathroom with walk-in showers and grab bars
- In-apartment heat and central air conditioning controls for individualized comfort
- All property tax and utilities (except landline phone service and cable television)
- All maintenance for appliances, building, grounds
- Scheduled wellness, recreational, educational and social events
- Access to all community spaces including fitness center, library, beauty and barber shop, woodworking shop and more
- Scheduled transportation for outings and shopping
Health services package
Base Health Care Service Level
$125 per month fee
- Initial health care assessment with individualized care plan
- Personal care staff on duty 24 hours per day
- Personal pendant with 24-hour urgency response
- Monthly vital signs management which are reviewed by nursing staff
- Assistance with scheduling transportation as needed
- Additional services available
